Presentation

A total of 458 photovoltaic panels were installed with an installed power of 208,39 kWp, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The installation was carried out as part of the Porto Solar project, which aims to promote energy efficiency and independence in various municipal buildings. It involves the installation of photovoltaic panels on municipal infrastructures in order to guarantee the production and use of renewable electricity in 29 buildings managed by the municipality.

Results

Annual production of 274,94 MW/h, 61,42% of which was directly self-consumed at the respective facilities. This ensures 36,05% of energy needs.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS

40 photovoltaic panels were installed on one of the green roofs of the Falcão Elementary School. This Self-Consumption Production Unit (UPAC) has an annual production of 28,63 kW/h of electricity, which corresponds to 60% of the energy consumed by the school and is equivalent to a reduction in CO2 emissions of 7,39 tonnes per year. 52 photovoltaic panels were installed with a total power of 23.66 kWp, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This action is part of the Porto Solar project, which aims to promote energy efficiency and independence by installing panels on 29 municipal buildings to generate and use renewable energy.
The Agra do Amial Renewable Energy Community (REC) was implemented in 2024 with the aim of supplying and sharing electricity between the buildings that make up the REC, in a self-consumption model. The total installed power is around 127 kWp, distributed across 233 photovoltaic solar panels, of which 205 are located in the Agra do Amial […]
